Christone Kingfish Ingram Tempe reviews
Foreigner - Chula Vista Amphitheatre
Christone Kingfish Ingram was the first time I'd seen them perform live, and they were all over the airwaves during my formative years, very impressive. I always appreciate when an aging singer tackles all the 'highs' in their material and doesn't miss a beat. The sound was well-mixed but the large monitors at this venue could use an upgrade, lacking good resolution. The stage lighting was extremely captivating - 6 fully-articulating light columns that were in constant motion throughout the entire set, SUPER cool. Great show.
This was my second time seeing Jason Bonham's band, and they are outstanding as well. Not much of a WhiteSnake fan...but I guess fans of 80s hair rock were satisfied. All-in-all a very fun evening and well worth the money.
